Overview
With a monosplit system, the required compressor is usually mounted on an outside wall. The wall-mounted unit, which is permanently installed in the house, is mounted in a room 5-10 cm below the ceiling on a free wall. It draws in the warm room air at the top and blows out the cool air at the bottom, thus ensuring optimum air circulation in the room.
If there is no free wall available or if there are many sloping roofs, chest units are suitable. These are mounted near the floor, similar to a radiator.
